A small design studio with big dreams for your dance business

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am going to speculate here, so bare with me! But I would say as a busy dance biz owner you wake up thinking about all the things you need to do that day and go to sleep thinking about all the things you didn’t get done that day? If you are a studio owner, you are managing numerous students, not to mention almost double the parents, teachers, bookkeeping, studio expenses, studio housekeeping, eisteddfods, exams, concerts and that just the tip of the iceberg. If you are a dancer or choreographer, you are managing rehearsals, auditions, schedules, booking gigs, bookkeeping and more. Was I close?

What does a typical day look like for me?

I spend my days raising and lovin’ on my three little cherubs, doing life with my husband, walking my puppy, squeezing in some exercise in the form of gym workouts or a dance fitness sesh, drinking coffee, oh and yes of course, running my design business.

And this is where we cross paths…

I’m on a mission to help make your life easier and lighten the load by doing what I do best.

How can I lighten your load?

By designing, building and managing your website;

By bringing your dance brand to life with intentional and purposeful branding;

By creating social media content that shines and relates to your audience.

These are just to name a few…does that already sound like a load has been lifted? Do you feel a little lighter just reading the above?

Ready to Dream Big?…

Hey, I’m Carla

I’m a designer, Illustrator and Lady in charge here at Light Shine Studio.

I believe we were all created with a purpose to shine and although that might look different for each person, choosing to shine is up to you! If you can use your passion and talents to help bring some light and joy into the world, then you my friend are shining super bright.

Why Design?

I love design, the challenges it presents and exciting opportunities to work with wonderful business owners really lights me up. I believe my creative edge and ability to interpret design briefs comes from the wide variety of mediums I have studied and learnt over the years. I have had the privilege of working with many small business owners of the 8 years I have worked in design and when I help bring my clients’ visions to life, it is such a thrill.

As a qualified graphic designer who went onto to up-skill and study web design you can trust you will be getting the best of both worlds.
